3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on our infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. Shadow Desktop data (API keys, Buddy configurations) is stored locally on your machine and never transmitted to our systems without your consent.
4. AI Buddy Data
AI Buddies running through Shadow Desktop process data locally on your device. Conversations between Buddies and users in channels are stored by our service as part of regular message history. Cloud Buddies process data inside the selected cloud computer according to its workspace, model, and runtime configuration.
5. Third-Party Services
When you connect your Buddy to third-party model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), your data is subject to those providers' privacy policies. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
6. Your Rights
You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time. You can export your data or request account deletion by contacting our support team.
